| 2007 PITTSBURGH WORLD OF WHEELS CUSTOM CAR SHOW |

Blades Rod Shop participated in the 2007 custom car show at the David Lawrence convention center this past weekend. Rave reviews say that the show keeps getting better every year!
It appeared that attendance was up over last year, the place was just about packed from open to close everyday. The cars looked good, alot of variety was displayed and the entertainment was interesting. There was more for kids to do this year to prevent the saying we all just love to hear..."Is it time to leave yet?".
The majority of the questions I got were along the lines of "Exactly what IS Blades Rod Shop? What goes on there?". The crowd was pleased to hear that aside from building our own cars to sell, we also do maintenece on street rods brought to our shop and we are for hire to do restoration work or custom builds.
We had a few freshly built and near complete vehicles on display in our booth: The Lime 1941 Mercury Convertible, the Saddle 1947 Ford Convertible, a Two tone 1947 Ford 2 Door Sedan. Also in our booth was a 1936 Panel Truck, it's a current work in progress that had much attention focused on it. We brought a Red 1932 Ford Tudor and 1932 Black Roadsterthat were displayed in the 1932 line paying tribute to Ford's 75 year anniversary. Watch our website for photos and pricing on all of these beautiful cars.
